The catalog of biographies we’ve assembled is an extension of the R Gallery, a way to reconnect the furniture we sell with the history behind the designers and manufacturers. Every piece of vintage furniture has a story, and the inventory at R represents several decades of stories spanning scores of countries, designers and circumstances. Each short essay is an introduction to the details about the designer’s most important education, projects, and awards.
