R 20th Century specializes in an international selection of unique and well-crafted objects, lighting and furniture from the mid-century modern movement. Our extensive inventory of magnificent icons of this era is available from our Tribeca showroom in Manhattan, and the R website, with worldwide shipping available. We also offer a "wishlist" service to search for that one specific piece to complete or start a great collection of these important designs.
R Gallery and our mission
The R Gallery is also open in our Tribeca location to host exhibitions that showcase and preserve the works from this period, as well as the history behind their development and production. We are excited to have the space to compile larger collections from specific designers and produce catalogs to expand the public awareness of their work.
R is open Monday through Friday, 11am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 12 to 6 pm. Viewings of our Brooklyn warehouse are available by appointment. Everything on our website is available for purchase by credit card, check, wire or cash.
Please note: R will be closed Saturdays throughout the month of August.

Sales policy
All sales are final. We can help arrange shipping to anywhere in the world. For American shipments of furniture, we use Plycon Van Lines. For smaller items, we use UPS.
Rentals
All items for sale are also available for rental. We charge 15% of the item's price for a one-day rental and 30% for a rental of up to one week. We can also negotiate a price for longer rentals. Please call us with any questions.
